Obverse description The full Bulgarian state coat of arms occupies the central field, featuring a crowned escutcheon bearing a rampant lion, supported on either side by two rampant lions standing atop decorative mantling. A royal crown surmounts the achievement, flanked by two crossed standards, beneath a draped canopy. The Cyrillic legend БЪЛГАРИЯ arcs across the upper field, while a ribbon below the shield bears the motto СЪЕДИНЕНИЕ-ТО ПРАВИ СИЛА-ТА (Unity makes strength). The design is framed by a finely milled border.
