Obverse description Letterpress in black with red overstamps; the upper register presents the vertical denomination within a scrollwork frame incorporating Chrysanthemum Seals and five-seven Paulownia Seals, while the lower register carries vertical inscriptions enclosed within a frame of two dragons. A circular red stamped seal is applied over the denomination panel.

Reverse description Letterpress in black with red overstamps; vertical inscriptions occupy the central field within a frame bordered top and bottom by a pair of Hōō phoenix vignettes set against iridescent clouds over paulownia foliage. A circular red stamped seal is applied at the head of the rightmost inscription column.
