Obverse description Central device features the Lion Capital of Ashoka (the national emblem of India), depicting four Asiatic lions atop an abacus adorned with a Dharma Chakra flanked by animals in relief. The motto सत्यमेव जयते (Satyameva Jayate) appears in Devanagari script below the emblem in the lower field. The denomination '10' is prominently displayed at the bottom center, with 'RUPEES' in Latin script to the right and 'भारत' (Bharat) and 'INDIA' flanking the emblem to the left and right respectively in large letters along the inner border.
