Obverse description The Ashoka Pillar, India's national emblem depicting four lions atop an abacus with the Dharma Chakra wheel, is centrally positioned in the field. The motto 'सत्यमेव जयते' (Satyameva Jayate) appears in Devanagari script immediately below the emblem, with the large numeral '10' beneath it. The circular legend reads 'भारत' and '10 रुपये' in Devanagari to the left and 'INDIA' and '10 RUPEES' in Latin to the right, arranged along the periphery of the coin.
