| Reverse description | Green-brown, pink, and orange-yellow tones form the ground for a richly detailed nature vignette. A rare wild daffodil orchid (Ipsea speciosa) occupies the lower register, while a common hourglass tree-frog (Rhacophorus cruciger eques) climbs a small evergreen tree (Rhododendron arboreum) bearing large red flowers, with a yellow-eared bulbul (Pycnonotus penicillatus) perched at the summit. Bank name and denomination are inscribed in Sinhala, Tamil, and English across the design. |
