| Obverse description | Central device depicts the emblem of the Sri Lanka Signal Corps: a winged figure of Mercury in dynamic pose, one arm raised, superimposed over a terrestrial globe rendered in latitude and longitude lines, encircled by a ring of eight five-pointed stars and two concentric arcs. Below the globe, a stylised pair of wings flanks a lightning bolt, forming the base of the corps badge. The commemorative legend '75th Anniversary Sri Lanka Signal Corps' and the date '2018' appear in the lower field, while the country name legend 'SRI LANKA' is inscribed to the left and in Sinhala script (ශ්රී ලංකා) at the top and Tamil script (இலங்கை) to the right. |
