| Obverse description | Printed in red on a cream ground with elaborate guilloche borders and Moorish arch frames enclosing the two principal vignettes: a dhow under full sail on open water to the left, and a group of fruit pickers working in a clove tree grove to the right. A central royal cipher cartouche in Arabic script appears at the top centre, flanked by denomination numerals in Arabic and Gujarati script within ornate lobed panels. The promise-to-pay text, denomination legend, multilingual inscriptions, date, and two manuscript signatures appear in the central field, with serial numbers printed in blue at lower left and lower right. |
