Reverse description The reverse depicts a dynamic freestyle skier in mid-air, captured in an acrobatic aerial manoeuvre with skis crossed and body arched, rendered in a bold graphic style that dominates the left and lower portions of the field. To the right of the central figure, the three-line inscription 'ЗІМОВЫЯ ВІДЫ СПОРТУ' (Winter Sports) appears in the upper field, with the discipline name 'ФРЫСТАЙЛ' (Freestyle) inscribed in large stylised lettering along the lower arc. Subtle snowflake motifs are visible in the background of the field, reinforcing the winter sports theme. The overall composition is energetic and modern in artistic treatment.

Additional information

Part of a long-running Belarusian commemorative series covering Olympic disciplines, this issue appeared during a period when the National Bank of Belarus was producing silver sports coins at an industrial pace — dozens of types annually, many sharing the same planchet specification. Collector fatigue with the format became a genuine secondary-market problem by the late 2010s, suppressing premiums on individual pieces regardless of subject matter.

Freestyle skiing became a medal sport at Albertville in 1992, the same Games where the newly independent Belarus first competed under its own flag.
