| Obverse description | The bimetallic obverse features the numeral '10' prominently in the centre of the copper-nickel disc, with the denomination legend 'РУБЛЕЙ' inscribed below; the zero of '10' incorporates a latent image security device alternating between the numeral '10' and the abbreviation 'РУБ' when viewed at different angles. The mint mark appears at the lower portion of the disc. Along the upper arc of the brass ring runs the legend 'БАНК РОССИИ' (Bank of Russia), while the year of issue '2009' is positioned along the lower arc, flanked on either side by stylised plant sprigs that extend onto the central disc. |
