The Siberian Provisional Government was one of several competing anti-Bolshevik administrations that sprang up east of the Urals following the October Revolution, and its currency reflects that improvised authority. This note predates the consolidation of White forces under Kolchak — the Admiral's coup in November 1918 effectively ended the civilian Siberian government's independent existence, making the window for this issue very narrow.
Notes from this administration were absorbed into the broader White movement currency pool almost immediately, circulating alongside Omsk government issues in a region already flooded with competing scrip. Distinguishing genuine circulation wear from storage damage is complicated by the chaotic conditions of the Civil War period.
