(Translation: USSR 10 Roubles)
Reverse description Two equestrians in traditional Central Asian dress are depicted in dynamic motion across the central field, their horses at full gallop, evoking a traditional horseback racing event. The Moscow 1980 Olympic emblem — the Olympic rings surmounted by a stylized tower motif with a five-pointed star — appears at the upper centre between the riders. A decorative band of traditional geometric ornament runs along the lower field, with the minting year '1978' inscribed in the exergue below it. The mint mark of the Leningrad Mint (ЛМД) appears in the lower right field. The Cyrillic legend 'ИГРЫ XXII ОЛИМПИАДЫ · МОСКВА · 1980' curves along the upper rim.
