Obverse description At the centre of the coin disc, the denomination '10 РУБЛЕЙ' is inscribed in two lines within the numeral '10', whose inner loop incorporates a latent image security feature alternately revealing the numeral '10' and the abbreviation 'РУБ' when viewed at changing angles. A circular legend along the upper rim reads 'БАНК РОССИИ' (Bank of Russia), while the date '2012' and the mint mark 'СПМД' appear at the lower rim. Flanking the central device are stylised sprigs of olive to the left and oak to the right, rendered in low relief against the plain field.
