The Supreme Court of the Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic was established in 1923, making this centennial issue a rare instance of a Lukashenko-era commemorative that traces institutional continuity directly back to early Soviet governance — a lineage the current administration has generally found convenient rather than uncomfortable.
