Historical Context: Issued by Malaysia in 2023, the 10 Ringgit UPSI100 commemorates the centenary of Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris. Established in 1922, this institution is pivotal in Malaysia's educational landscape, particularly for teacher training. Released under Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, the coin underscores the nation's enduring commitment to academic excellence and its historical development in education.

Artistry: The engraver for this issue is not publicly attributed, with design typically originating from Bank Negara Malaysia's team, adhering to a modern commemorative stylistic school. The obverse invariably features the national emblem or the portrait of the reigning Yang di-Pertuan Agong, symbolizing national sovereignty. The reverse is dedicated to the UPSI centenary, likely showcasing the university's distinctive emblem, motto, or an iconic architectural representation, rendered with precision.

Technical/Grading: Struck in .925 fine silver with a substantial 43-gram weight, this coin exhibits excellent technical qualities typical of modern Malaysian commemoratives. Key high-points for grading include intricate details of the university emblem on the reverse, particularly fine lines within its crest or text. On the obverse, definition of the national arms or the Agong's regalia is crucial. Expect a sharp strike, strong luster, and minimal imperfections, indicating high production standards.
