| Reverse description | Central field displays a detailed engraving of the Dome of the Rock in Jerusalem, rendered in fine relief with its characteristic dome and arcaded facade. The Arabic inscription 'يا أيُّها المُسلِمُونَ اِتَّحِدُوا اِتَّحِدُوا' (Oh Muslims, Unite! Unite!) arcs prominently around the upper portion of the field. The Solar Hijri date ۱۳۶۸ and the Lunar Hijri date ١٤٠٩ appear to the right and left of the central motif respectively. Below, the denomination '١٠ ريال' and the commemorative legend 'بمناسبت دهمين سالگرد روز جهانى قدس' (To commemorate the tenth International Day of Jerusalem) are inscribed along the lower rim. The coin is framed by a beaded border. |
