Obverse description Printed in violet and purple tones, the obverse carries a portrait of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi at right, set within an arched frame, with a central vignette of Achaemenid relief figures — including a winged lion and royal guardsmen — against a guilloche underprint. The bank title بانک ملی ایران appears in stylized Persian script at top center, flanked by ornate lattice borders at left and right. The denomination دَه ریال is inscribed in Persian at center-left, with two signature lines below and serial numbers printed in red across the upper and lower registers.

Reverse description The reverse, rendered entirely in violet, presents a large central vignette based on an Achaemenid bas-relief scene: a royal chariot drawn by galloping horses, with an archer in combat and a winged Faravahar symbol above, framed by palm trees and cuneiform-inscribed columns. The legend BANK MELLI IRAN is printed in Latin characters at top center, with RIALS 10 at bottom center. Ornamental guilloche panels and floral scroll borders fill the lateral margins, with the denomination ده ریال repeated in Persian script at far left and right.
