| Obverse description | Central field bears the arms of Nueva Granada, consisting of a pomegranate flanked by cornucopias and surmounted by a condor with wings displayed, the shield supported by flags and fasces. The circular legend REPUBLICA DE LA NUEVA GRANADA arcs above along the periphery, while the date is positioned in the exergue below the arms. The design is rendered in the neoclassical style typical of early Republican Colombian coinage. |

| Reverse description | The denomination DIEZ REALES is inscribed in two lines across the central field, enclosed within a laurel and olive wreath tied at the base with a ribbon bow. The fineness inscription LEY 0,900 appears in the lower exergual area beneath the wreath, indicating the coin's silver standard. The reeded border frames the entire design, consistent with the milled coinage of the period. |
