A ribbon scroll inscribed in Arabic with the country name is draped beneath the eagle, flanked by olive branches. The dual date legend appears in the lower field, reading 1979 (Gregorian) and 1399 (Hijri) in Eastern Arabic-Indic numerals. The entire design is framed by a dentilated border running along the coin's rim.
