Obverse description Central intaglio vignette of a horse-drawn plough worked by a labourer against a rural landscape, with the denominational numeral '£10' in ornate gothic script at centre. Bilingual legends in English and Irish appear across the top and along the side margins, with the issuing bank name at the foot. Two signature facsimiles appear — that of the Chairman of the Currency Commission above the central vignette and a second signatory below — alongside the serial number in red and the date in black letterpress at lower right.
