Reverse description The full Royal Arms of the United Kingdom depicted in high relief at centre, comprising the quartered shield bearing the three passant guardant lions of England (first and fourth quarters), the rampant lion of Scotland (second quarter), and the harp of Ireland (third quarter), surmounted by the Imperial State Crown. The dexter supporter is a crowned lion guardant and the sinister supporter is a unicorn chained and gorged with a coronet, both rendered with exceptional sculptural detail by engraver Timothy Noad. A ribbon wrapping the shield bears the Garter motto HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE, while a scroll below carries the royal motto DIEU ET MON DROIT. Floral emblems of the constituent nations — the Tudor rose, Scottish thistle, and Irish shamrock — appear beneath the shield, with the divided date 20 23 placed above and the inscription 10 OZ FINE SILVER 999 along the lower exergue.
