| Reverse description | The central device features the King's Royal Cypher — the interlaced crowned CIII monogram — rendered in selective gold plating against the polished silver field, creating a striking two-tone contrast. The cypher is surrounded by an elaborate wreath of acanthus-style foliage, also finished in gold plate, surmounted by St Edward's Crown at the apex of the design. The legend KING CHARLES III CORONATION arcs around the upper border, while TEN POUNDS is inscribed along the lower periphery, both in raised capital letters. The composition was engraved by Quentin Peacock and Timothy Noad, reflecting the heraldic tradition of British royal commemorative coinage. |
