Reverse description The central vignette, printed in blue intaglio, shows a seated allegorical figure of Hibernia within an ornate oval medallion surrounded by elaborate guilloche work. Flanking the central medallion are two large numeral '10' counters set within decorative lathe-work panels, all against a green underprint. Standing figures of Hibernia appear at both the left and right margins, with additional guilloche borders framing the upper and lower edges of the note.
