Reverse description The reverse is dominated by a detailed intaglio reproduction of John Rocque's celebrated 1756 map of Dublin, rendered in deep burgundy and rose tones, with the River Liffey and sailing vessels along Aston's Quay clearly delineated. Street names including Great Abby Street, Batchelors Walk, and Lower Liffey Street are legible within the cartographic vignette. The issuer's name in a bold decorative typeface and the ornately styled denomination numeral '£10' with the legend 'legal tender' appear to the right.
