Obverse description Intaglio-printed portrait of Queen Elizabeth II in three-quarter view at right, set against a salmon-toned guilloche underprint that fills the central field. The Jersey Arms shield vignette, showing three leopards passant, appears at centre-bottom within an elaborate lathe-work rosette, while denomination numerals in £10 style flank the upper corners within fine engine-turned borders. A facsimile signature of the Treasurer of the States appears to the right of centre.

Reverse description A detailed intaglio vignette of St. Ouen's Manor occupies the left and central portion of the note, rendered with fine line engraving that captures the granite manor house, its chapel, surrounding trees and courtyard. To the right, a compass rose atop a flagpole and a circular guilloche panel appear above an outline map of Jersey in the lower right corner. The design is framed by an intricate lace-pattern border in violet throughout.
