Reverse description Central vignette of a bearded male river-god face — representing the spirit of the River Bann — enclosed in a rectangular intaglio frame at the centre of the note. Elaborate Celtic-style guilloche borders surround the composition, with two large circular panels at left and right, the right panel bearing the £10 denomination. Corner ornaments with stylised Celtic knotwork motifs complete the design.
