KNIPPING arcs along the upper portion of the border, while ALTENA curves along the lower portion, both in raised Latin capitals. Centered in the field, arranged in three stacked lines, appears ABT. / DEUTSCH / LUX., identifying the Deutsch-Luxemburgische division of the firm. Two small six-pointed stars or asterisks flank the central text at mid-height, serving as decorative separators between the circular legend and the central inscription. |
