| Reverse description | The reverse displays the large numeral '10' in prominent raised figures occupying the central field, with the denomination legend PFENNIG inscribed below in spaced capital letters. The legend KRIEGS-ERSATZGELD (war emergency money) arcs along the upper portion of the coin within the inner beaded border, flanked by two raised dots at either side of the lower field. The entire design is enclosed by an outer beaded border running along the rim, characteristic of German municipal Notgeld coinage of the First World War period. |
