Obverse description Octagonal zinc notgeld token with a beaded border running along all eight sides. The large numeral '10' is prominently centered in the field within a dotted inner circle. The issuer's name 'HERMANN HAAS' arcs along the upper portion of the legend, while 'TRIER' appears at the base, each flanked by a star. The design is plain and utilitarian, characteristic of German emergency small change coinage of the World War I era.
