Obverse description The large numeral '10' dominates the center of the field, with the denomination legend 'PFENNIG' arcing along the lower rim, flanked on each side by a six-pointed star. The issuer name 'STADT TRIER' curves along the upper portion of the coin, with the date '1919' continuing the arc to the right. The design is bold and utilitarian, characteristic of German Notgeld emergency coinage of the post-World War I period.
