Obverse description The upper half of the note is dominated by a central vignette framed by an arched surround of ornamental scrollwork and grain stalks, showing a view of the Technikum Bad Sulza building with the legend 'Technikum' inscribed below. Denomination roundels in blue bearing '10 Pf' in white occupy the upper left and right corners. The lower half carries the value inscription in Gothic script, the promise-to-pay text, the issue date 'Bad Sulza, 19. Juli 1921', the circular municipal seal of Stadtgemeinde Bad Sulza at centre, facsimile signatures of the Gemeindevorstand (Seidel) and the Gemeinderat chairman, and the series letter 'A' at lower right.

Reverse description The upper portion bears a central octagonal vignette of the Rathaus (Town Hall) with vineyards in the background, captioned 'Rathaus mit Weinbergen' along the top border. Blue diamond-shaped panels with '10 Pf' in white are placed at the upper left and right corners, echoing the obverse layout. The lower section contains the place name 'Bad Sulza i/Thüringen' in bold Gothic lettering flanked by decorative ribbon scrolls carrying the validity inscription 'Gültig bis 31. Dez. 1922', with a four-line verse in Gothic script in a cartouche below.
