Obverse description Large numeral '10' prominently centered in the field, serving as the denomination. A circular legend in Latin script reads 'STADT SOLINGEN 1919' along the upper arc and 'PFENNIG' along the lower arc, with five-pointed stars as separators flanking the lower legend. The design is bold and utilitarian, characteristic of German Notgeld emergency coinage of the post-World War I period.
