Reverse description An outer pearl border frames the reverse, with an inner rope circle enclosing the central denomination. The large numeral 10 occupies the central field in bold relief within the rope circle. The legend KRIEGSERSATZGELD is inscribed in capital letters around the annular space between the rope circle and the outer pearl border, divided to either side, with three small six-pointed stars serving as decorative separators positioned at the base of the coin outside the rope circle.
