Reverse description The denomination numeral 10 occupies the centre of the field in large, bold relief, with the abbreviation PF. (for Pfennige) inscribed on a horizontal rule beneath it. The date, split as 19 and 17, flanks the lower portion of the numeral on either side, each accompanied by a small maltese cross ornament. The circular legend KLEINGELD at the top and ERSATZMARKE at the bottom arc around the full circumference, together reading 'small change substitute token', denoting the emergency nature of this notgeld issue. The entire design is contained within a beaded border following the octagonal outline of the flan.
