| Obverse description | Pink-tinted notgeld printed in dark brown letterpress on plain paper, with an ornate scalloped and scrollwork border enclosing the entire face. The denomination numeral '10' appears in each of the four corners within circular cartouches. The issuer's name 'W. Hampel G.m.b.H. Glashüttenwerk' is set in Gothic blackletter script across the upper centre, below the 'Gutschein' header and serial number. The denomination 'Zehn Pfennig' is rendered in large Gothic script within a shaded central panel flanked by decorative rosette medallions, with the place and date 'Schildhorst bei Freden-Leine, den 1. Juli 1920' below. Redemption conditions in small text and the issuer's facsimile signature appear at the foot, with the printer's imprint 'J. C.
