Reverse description Printed in black and green on cream paper, the reverse centres on a large letterpress line-engraved vignette illustrating the legend of Saint Martin of Tours, in which a mounted armoured knight on horseback leans toward a kneeling beggar amid a wooded landscape. The denomination '10 Pf.' appears in banner-style tablets at the upper left and upper right, flanking an arched issuer inscription in Gothic script across the top, while a rectangular cartouche at the foot of the vignette bears the identifying caption of the patron saint.
