Obverse description A large, boldly rendered eagle head in profile facing left dominates the field, engraved in high relief with fine feather detailing along the neck and crown. The hooked beak is prominently depicted in the characteristic style associated with German imperial and Weimar-era heraldic coinage. The circular legend DEUTSCHES REICH runs along the inner border of the beaded rim, framing the eagle device. The overall composition reflects the restrained, modernist aesthetic typical of Weimar Republic pattern coinage of the mid-1920s.
