Obverse description The obverse features the municipal coat of arms of Löwenberg in Silesia, centrally positioned in the field, depicting a heraldic shield surmounted by a crested helmet with elaborate mantling. The shield bears an eagle displayed, characteristic of Silesian heraldry. The circular legend STADT LÖWENBERG SCHL. runs along the lower periphery in an arc, flanked by the coat of arms on either side. A solid incuse line forms the inner border, separating the legend from the milled edge. The overall design is rendered in a bold, relief style typical of early Weimar-era municipal notgeld coinage.
