| Reverse description | The reverse displays a bold interlaced monogram composed of the letters 'S' and 'W', representing Schusters Warenhaus, prominently centered in the field and occupying the majority of the die area. The 'S' forms a large outer curve encircling the superimposed 'W', creating a decorative commercial cipher in high relief. The design is enclosed by a continuous pearl border that follows the octagonal periphery of the flan, with no additional legend or inscription present. |

| Additional information |
Schusters Warenhaus was one of the department store chains that issued privately circulating zinc tokens during the German notgeld period of World War I, when chronic small-denomination coin shortages forced municipalities and private businesses alike to produce their own emergency substitutes. Zinc was the material of necessity — copper and nickel had been requisitioned for the war effort by 1916, leaving commercial issuers with few alternatives.
