Obverse description Printed in crimson red on a pale olive-green ground, the obverse centres on a large Gothic denomination numeral '10' with the abbreviation 'Pfg' as an olive-green underprint, overlaid by a red-printed vignette of Mercury as a putto holding a caduceus and a scroll, set beneath a rope-and-scroll cartouche. Vertical side panels in decorative Gothic lettering read 'Notgeld / C. G. Tresselt' (left) and 'gut für zehn Pfennig' (right), while the lower panel carries a multi-line text block stating the terms of issue, a black hand-stamped serial number at lower left, and the manuscript signature of Carl Günther Tresselt at lower right. Printer and designer credits appear in small type at the very foot of the note.
