| Reverse description | The reverse displays the heraldic arms of Kellinghusen at centre: a shield bearing a crenellated tower or castle in the upper half and a sailing vessel on water in the lower half, rendered in low relief. The circular legend 'KLEINGELDERSATZMARKE' (small change substitute token) arcs along the upper periphery. The design is framed by a beaded inner border and a dentilated outer rim. The overall composition is characteristic of World War I German municipal notgeld coinage, emphasising local civic identity. |
