Reverse description Green letterpress-printed reverse on white paper with a light guilloche underprint of repeated ornamental motifs filling the background. The denomination numeral '10' is set in large Gothic type in each corner. The central vignette presents an overflowing lidded beer stein encircled by hop vine branches with leaves and cones rendered in fine line engraving. At the lower portion, a two-column rhyming verse in Gothic script alludes to Gardelegen's former brewing tradition and present hardship.
