| Reverse description | Octagonal flan with a continuous pearl border following the eight-sided periphery. A rope-edged circular frame occupies the centre of the field, enclosing the denomination numeral 10 in raised relief. The circular legend KLEINGELDERSATZMARKE, meaning small change substitute token, surrounds the central rope circle, interspersed with three six-pointed stars as separators. The design is stark and functional, typical of German municipal emergency coinage (Notgeld) issued during the currency crisis of the early 1920s. |
