| Obverse description | Octagonal flan with a continuous pearl border following the eight-sided periphery. Two crossed mining hammers are depicted in bold relief at the centre of the field, serving as the municipal emblem of Hayingen. The circular legend is divided between the upper arc, reading GEMEINDE, and the lower arc, reading HAYINGEN, with six-pointed stars as separators evenly distributed around the field.
