| Obverse description | Octagonal zinc notgeld token with a plain raised field. An outer ring of raised pellets forms a decorative border running parallel to all eight edges. Within this border, a circular legend reads ANTON SCHLÜTER at the top and FREISING-MÜNCHEN at the bottom. Anton Schlüter operated a Gasthof in the Freising-München area and issued this zinc notgeld token during the acute small-change shortages that gripped Germany in the early 1920s. Municipal and private emergency coinage of this kind was so pervasive by 1921–1922 that the Reichsbank eventually moved to suppress private issues, though enforcement was uneven and many continued circulating locally well past official prohibition.
