| Obverse description | The note is printed in blue-green and cream tones on a wave-pattern guilloche underprint. At the top centre, a vignette within a semicircular arch shows the Greiz city arms — a lion passant surmounting a stylised city gate with twin towers — inscribed 'STADT GREIZ' in a surrounding band. The denomination 'Zehn Pfennig' is set in bold letterpress across the centre field, flanked by circular numeral '10' medallions at left and right.
