| Obverse description | Octagonal zinc notgeld token with a plain raised border enclosing a continuous dotted inner circle. The large numeral '10' dominates the central field in bold relief. The circular legend 'ANNENER GUSSSTAHLWERK AKT. GES.' arcs around the upper portion of the inner border, while the issuing locality 'ANNEN i. W.' appears at the base, each separated by a six-pointed star serving as a stop. The overall design is austere and utilitarian, consistent with emergency small-change token production of the World War I era. |
