| Obverse description | Octagonal zinc notgeld token with a continuous pearl border following the coin's periphery. An inner pearl circle frames the central field, within which the denomination numeral '10' is prominently rendered in large raised digits. The legend 'N. MIES' arcs across the upper field and 'AHRWEILER' across the lower field, both read between the outer pearl border and the inner pearl circle, with two five-pointed stars serving as separators at either side. The overall design is austere and utilitarian, consistent with wartime emergency coinage production. |
