| Obverse description | Pink and black Notgeld note with a decorative border composed of diamond-shaped lozenges bearing the word PFENNIG at the corners and sides, enclosing a central vignette of the Lauchstädt town square with the church steeple and Rathaus in the foreground. The circular town seal of the Magistrat Lauchstädt appears at the top centre, flanked by the date 19 19, with two manuscript signatures across the upper portion of the central panel.
