| Obverse description | Brown letterpress Notgeld note with a decorative geometric border of interlocking diagonal elements and the denomination numeral '10' in each corner. The central vignette consists of a shield-shaped cartouche bearing the inscription 'Gemeinde Weddersleben' along its curved edge and 'Zehn Pfennig' in the centre field. Flanking the shield are two verse stanzas in Gothic script, with validity and place text at lower left reading 'Gültig bis zum Aufruf. Weddersleben, d. 1. Juli, 1921' and the municipal authority designation 'Der Gemeindevorstand:' with a manuscript signature at lower right. |
