| Obverse description | The obverse carries a central vignette of a stylised town gate or castle tower rendered in colour against a decorative dark red guilloche background, flanked on either side by large numerals '10' in teal. The issuer inscription 'Stadtgemeinde Bad Kösen' runs across the top in Gothic script beneath a crenellated border, with 'Pfennig' repeated at lower left and right. The lower portion contains the issue date, signatures of the Magistrat and Stadtverordneten, and a validity clause in two side panels, all in Gothic letterpress. |
