Marienburg — now Malbork, Poland — was a Weimar-era Notgeld issuer of no particular distinction, but the printing date recorded here is extraordinary. April 30, 1920 is the correct issue date for this series; a recorded date of 30.04.1945 would place production on the exact day of Hitler's suicide, by which point the city had already fallen to Soviet forces in late March. That figure almost certainly represents a cataloging or transcription error — possibly a misread "1920" rendered as "1945" — and should be verified against the note itself before any further attribution is made.
